Ok, I'm in Florence, Italy. I live with with my friend Caroline from Gettysburg and we live with an Italian family. Gina and Salvatore and their kids Davide and Elisabetta. They yell at each other all the time, and hardly speak any english.
My favorite thing I have done so far was when we went to the Amalfi Coast and swam through caves and went cliff jumping. The water was clear blue. Although I'm sure that sky diving will be my favorite thing after I do it in two weeks. I promise I won’t die.
My favorite food is definitely the Gnocchi. It kinda tastes like pasta, but it's little bits of potato wrapped in pasta. Aaaaaahhhh, I really want it right now. SOOO GOOOD. Nothing special to drink here for me....so my favorite is water? They don't have Snapple, which has really been a huge issue for me these past 3 months.
The things I'll miss most when I leave is all the beautiful buildings and stuff I get to look at every day, and speaking in Italian (it makes me feel cool), and the fact that we don't have school on Fridays, aaaannndd this really good chocolate milk I discovered in the grocery store (pathetic yet true).
The thing I am looking forward to the most when I get home is AMERICAN CHEESE, hummus, bagels, turkey, sushi, snapple, my family/friends (obvy), SNOW, driving, and my bed....I realize most of those things are food, but come on. Oh, and the lax season DUHHHH.
